'' Ma recherche porte essentiellement sur les objets qui nous environnent et sur leur lien avec notre intimité.
En faisant entré mon spectateur dans des univers peuplés de ces objets, je le pousse à s’intérroger sur leur identité cachée.
Il se confronte à la dualité et aux contradictions, de l’homme moderne : sa quête de singularité et son besoin d’appartenance.
C’est à travers la photographie que j’espère guider le spectateur : l’ammener à regarder et non simplement à voir, à ressentiret non à observer.' Pusha

Pusha Petrov lives and works in Romania.
Her artistic path has been enriched by various internships and residencies in France, and she actively engages with institutions internationally. Her work has been displayed in art fairs and biennales like: Paris Photo(2023,2021 & 2020* ), Cologne Art fair(2023),Daegu Photo Biennale: Role-playing: Rewriting Mythologies (2018), Art Encounters Biennale: Life a User’s Manual, Timisoara (2017); 18th International Biennale of Image, Ailleurs (Elsewhere), Nancy(2014).
In her recent years she has been collaborating with curator Ami Barak during her solo show: The unspoken and other images, Jecza Gallery(2020) and (Un)stitch at Borderline Art Space,(2020). Also she has been invited in collective shows such as: In and Out, Out and In at Jecza Gallery(2022), Danube Dialogues, Paris(2022), Quo Vadis Homini ?, Danube Dialogues, Serbia(2020), A Causal Loop, Galerie Charim, Vienne(2019); La Brique, The Brick, Cărămida, La Kunsthalle Mulhouse, France( 2019), Ex_East - Ex(iste). l’Espace Niemeyer, Paris(2019).
Her experience has been enhanced with shows like “Double face” with Ivan Moudov,Structura Gallery, Sofia (2022), “La Ronde”, Musée de la Corderie Vallois(2021), Wounded identity, Anca Poterasu Gallery, Bucharest, curator Ileana Pintilie, (2020), Petit programme, La Kunsthalle, Mulhouse, France(2020); Privilege, Galerie Le granit, Belfort, France(2019).
During the year 2022 she partner up with Corderie Vallois Museum, Rouen, to display an in situ project in the main section of the museum.
In 2023 she has been invited by Charim Gallery in Viena to create a site specific project during her residency at Ankerbrot Studio. Also during that year her work was selected in ELLESxPARIS PHOTO aniversary book edition.
For the St. Gallen Textile Museum’s 2024 exhibition, ‘All You canNOT Eat,’curated by Dr. Alexandra Schüssler, Pusha Petrov was icommissioned to imagine a new site-specific artwork
